I got into the painting program at my school! 30+ people went up for it and only 12 got in. Wow. People kept saying I was a shoe-in to get in, but you never know right? I'm soooo excited.

I have three more paintings to post which were a part of the portfolio I submitted. Also I have to do 3 more paintings for the semester, so more to come.

Just can't get over it! Woot!

It's been a long first 3 weeks of school. First project was 10 paintings that revolved around a still life that we set up. It has four different sides so there was some variety to chose from. However, when you have 2 writing classes and a spanish class along with the art class, well lets say there was almost not enough time to get everything done. I can't tell you how much sleep I didn't get...

Art should be intensive this semester and going up for block has my stomach in knots. I hope I get in. *knock on wood* I'll post my paintings as the class goes along.

The account has been kind of dead lately... >.>

Working on a few things, castle still isn't done. When I don't have deadlines, I tend to take forever on projects.

Doing Frazetta reproductions this summer to practice my acrylic painting skills. (Not having to worry about subject matter leaves me free to improve technique and speed.) Going up for studio block next semester, so I'll need all the practice I can get.

I'll try and post a few things I did this past semester soon.

Merry Christmas everyone! I know it's early, but with how often I tend to update this journal, I'll say it now just incase.

Well, I replaced a bunch of pics with better ones. I did a new experiment with my camera which yielded nice results. Also uploaded a few pieces that I finished at the end of the semester.

Working on Conan, I need to get that bugger done. Also, I'm gonna start painting my drawing Neuschwanstein Castle. I just need to tweak some of the things on the castle. Originally when I drew it, a year ago, I had only a tiny pic as reference and now that I found a few that are much bigger, many details are wrong. (Mostly cause I started making them up.) Hopefully, I'll get some done this break. *knock on wood*

So asked me to upload my work from this semester, even the sketchy stuff, so scraps is gonna get like 15 submissions, lol.

Only 1 or two deviations will be added to my 'gallery'. I haven't been able to work on my own projects. They will probably stay on hiatus until winter break. On the plus side, I found my old folder of stock for my greek gods. Apparently my jump drive had nestled its way in-between my dresser and my desk; I only stumbled upon it a few days ago. Unfortunately they will go on hiatus too, despite this fortunate development. Why?

Too much school work. I have never done so many all-nighters in one semester.
